Aidan Tarran-Jones

Associate Director, Geneva

Ethos

I place a great deal of importance on relationships, accountability and teamwork. I believe trust is built by being dependable, communicating openly and taking responsibility for the quality of the work we deliver.

I enjoy working closely with people, whether that is clients, colleagues or professional advisors, and I take pride in building strong relationships over time. I am motivated by seeing a team develop, take ownership and work together to achieve the best possible outcome.

I also value resilience and a practical mindset. Complex client matters often require patience, coordination and the ability to stay focused under pressure, and I believe a calm, collaborative approach is essential when helping clients and families work through important decisions.

Role

As an Associate Director in Saffery Trust’s Geneva office, I work with international private clients, families and intermediaries on the administration and governance of complex trust and company structures.

My role includes client relationship management, trustee and company administration, coordinating with advisors across jurisdictions, and supporting technical and operational matters across the team.

I manage a team in Geneva and work closely with colleagues across the wider business, including Cayman, where a number of client structures involve cross-office coordination. My work often brings together legal, tax, family, banking, accounting and governance considerations, requiring a clear and organised approach to ensure all elements are managed effectively.

Before joining Saffery Trust in 2022, I worked in the fiduciary sector in Geneva, following earlier roles in travel operations, logistics, sales and client service. This background helped shape my practical approach to problem-solving, relationship management and team leadership.
