Saffery Trust has appointed Nicola Mauger and Danielle Le Blancq as Client Directors, strengthening its private client capabilities in Guernsey and Dubai.

The appointments add significant private wealth and fiduciary experience to the firm and support its considered growth in two important markets.

Nicola joins Saffery Trust’s Guernsey team with more than 20 years’ fiduciary experience. She has worked extensively with international families on complex private wealth structures, including private trust companies, family businesses and structures holding commercial and residential real estate. She also has significant experience supporting clients through trustee transitions, contentious matters and complex multi-jurisdictional family circumstances.

Danielle will be permanently based in Dubai, where she will focus on developing relationships with clients, families and professional advisors across the Middle East and provide a senior local connection to Saffery Trust’s wider international team. Her appointment builds on the firm’s established presence in the Dubai International Financial Centre and longstanding relationships across the region.

Danielle brings extensive international private client experience and first-hand knowledge of the Middle East. Her expertise includes complex multi-jurisdictional structures, Sharia-compliant financing arrangements, commercial real estate, private businesses and other specialist assets.

Nick Batiste, Managing Director of Saffery Trust, said:

“Nicola and Danielle are both highly experienced private client professionals, and I am pleased to welcome them to Saffery Trust.

Nicola brings considerable technical and relationship management expertise to our Guernsey team. Her experience working with complex international structures and families further deepens the support we can provide to our clients and advisers.

Danielle’s permanent presence in Dubai gives clients and our professional advisor network a senior point of contact on the ground, with direct access to expertise across our international offices.

Together, these appointments reflect our commitment to investing in talented people and growth in markets where we can add real value for clients and their advisors.”

Nicola Mauger, Client Director, said:

“I am delighted to join Saffery Trust and work alongside such an experienced team. Strong relationships have always been central to my approach, and I look forward to supporting clients and advisors with the increasingly complex needs of international families.”

Danielle Le Blancq, Client Director, said:

“Joining Saffery Trust and helping to develop its existing presence in the Middle East is incredibly exciting. The firm has longstanding relationships in the region and being based in Dubai will enable me to support clients and advisors locally while connecting them directly with colleagues and expertise across the wider firm.”

The appointments form part of Saffery Trust’s strategy of developing senior private client capability across its international offices in Guernsey, Switzerland, Dubai, the Cayman Islands and the UK.
